Procedure Non-Renewal of Research Associate Appointment
- Department chair must submit to the Office of Faculty Affairs, a Research Associate Non-Renewal Request: https://facaffairs.wufoo.com/forms/research-associate-nonrenewal-request/
Request for non-renewal of Research Associate appointment with supporting documentation relating to the reason(s) for non-renewal.
After review and approval, the Office of Faculty Affairs will notify the department that it can proceed with written notification to the research associate, using the template letter. The non-renewal letter must be signed by the department chair.
- These materials will be reviewed to assure compliance with University and School of Medicine policy and to determine if legal consultation is necessary.
The department must submit a copy of the chair's signed non-renewal letter to the Office of Faculty Affairs.
