Affiliated Faculty
Faculty who hold clinical appointments (volunteer) at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine are permitted to hold volunteer appointments at other medical schools. Conversely, an individual with a volunteer appointment at another institution may be granted an affiliated faculty appointment at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Full-Time Faculty
Full-time faculty members of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine may hold only an adjunct appointment at another institution. Individuals who hold a full-time faculty appointment at another medical school may be granted only an adjunct appointment at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
