The Center offers an established peer coach training course with at least twice-yearly training cohorts for attending physicians and research scientists who are eligible to take a certification exam upon completion of the four modules and coach practice fieldwork.
- The Center trains 2-3 cohorts of 15 to 20 attending physicians and research scientist faculty per year
- Each course is conducted over:
- 16 hours of classroom instruction (i.e., four in-person sessions conducted over four months)
- 16 hours of fieldwork (involving small group coaching practice, assigned readings, and reflective exercises)
